129 ُ ْت َ مَقَامَه ی ْت َ شِعْرِي ْ ھَل ْ رَأَ ی َ أَل َ ل ُ ْر ٍ أَو ْ عَلَی الظَّن ِّ تَعْمُر ی ِ کَمِثْل ِ بَص If only you had been wise enough! Are you personally a wit - ness to his elevated station, Or is the whole basis [of your belief ] based on imagination? ً َة ی ْ فِر َّ و کِذْبًا َّ ً و ِ إِطْرَاء ْه ی أَتُعْلِ ُ ُ الْمُقَدِّر سَقَاه مَا ِ کَأْسًا ْه ی ِ أَتَسْق Do you want to raise this edifice merely on falsehood and imposture? Would you make him drink from the goblet that God has not offered to him? ْ ُم ك َاد ُ السَّمٰوَات ُ العُلٰی مِن ْ کََمِ ك َ ت ُ مُتَقَرِّر َ وَقْتُھَا َ لَوْل تَفَطَّرْن Indeed, the heavens may well-nigh rend asunder because of what you proclaim, Even though the appointed time of their rending asunder may not have come. ْ أَکَان َ حُسَيْن ٌ أَفْضَل َ الرُّسْل ِ کُلِّھِم ُ مُؤْثَر َ ِ و َاء ی ِ َنْب َ الْأ ْع ی َ شَفِ أَکَان Was Husain better than all the Prophets? Was he an intercessor for the Prophets and more pious than all of them? ْ الَّذِي ِ عَلَی ِ الْغَیُوْر ّٰ ُ الل َ لَعْنَة أَل ُ َتَبَصَّر ی َ ل َّ ٍ و ُ بِإِطْرَاء ْن ی ِ َم ی Be on your guard! For Almighty God invokes His curse on the person, Who tells lies by making exaggerated statements and utilizes not the insight granted to him.
