109 تَكَبَّرَ مَاءُ THE MIRACLE OF AHMAD السَّابِقِينَ وَعَيْنُنَا إلى آخِرِ الْأَيَّامِ لَا تَتَكَدَّرُ The waters of others from among the ummah have dried up; But, my spring is not going to dry up until the last days of the world. إِذَا مَا غَضِبْنَا يَغْضَبُ اللَّهُ صَائِلًا عَلَى مُعْتَدٍ يُؤْذِي وَبِالسُّوْءِ يَجْهَرُ When I become angry at a person, God too becomes angry at him, Who crosses the limit and is intent on manifest evil. وَيَأْتِي زَمَانٌ كَاسِرٌ كُلَّ ظَالِمٍ وَهَلْ يُهْلَكَنَّ الْيَوْمَ إِلَّا الْمُدَمَّرُ The time is coming when He will destroy every wrongdoer; No one will then perish but the one who is already perished. وَإِنِّي لَشَرُّ النَّاسِ إِنْ لَّمْ يَكُنْ لَّهُمْ جَزَاءَ إِهَانَتِهِمْ صَغَارُ يُصَغَرُ I may be considered to be the worst among mankind, If those who maligned me are not punished with humiliation. وَوَاللَّهِ إِنِّي مَا ادَّعَيْتُ تَعَلَّيَّا وَأَبْغِي حَيَاةً مَّا يَلِيْهَا التَّكَبُّرُ By God, I have not made my claim out of egotism; Rather, I desire a life that is not tainted by even the shadow of arrogance. وَقَدْ سَرَّنِي أَنْ لَّا يُشَارَ بِإِصْبَعِ إِلَيَّ وَأُلْقَى مِثْلَ عَظْمٍ يُعَفَّرُ My pleasure lay in the fact that nobody should consider me pious; I wished to have been disposed as one disposes a rotten bone.
