108 HADRAT MIRZA GHULAM AHMAD وَلَوْ عِنْدَ هَذَا الْقَوْلِ بِالسَّيْفِ أُنْحَرُ أَقُولُ وَلَا أَخْشَى فَإِنِّي مَسِيحُهُ And, I declare openly and without fear that I am the Promised Messiah; Even though I may be killed by a sword for this declaration. وَقَدْ جَاءَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ ذِكْرُ فَضَائِلِي وَذِكْرُ ظُهُورِي عِنْدَ فِتْنٍ تُثَوَّرُ My excellences are recorded in the Holy Quran, And the troublesome age in which I was to appear is also recorded. فَرُدَّ قَضَاءَ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَقْدِرُ وَمَا أَنَا إِلَّا مُرْسَلٌ عِنْدَ فِتْنَةٍ I am naught but sent by God at a time of trial; So, strive to alter the command of Almighty God-if you think you are capable. لَهُ الْحُكْمُ يَقْضِيْ مَا يَشَاءُ وَيَأْمُرُ تَخَيَّرَنِي الرَّحْمَنُ مِنْ بَيْنِ خَلْقِهِ Out of all His creation, God has chosen me; The final decision is His. He can do what He chooses. وَ وَاللَّهِ مَا أَفْرِي وَ إِنِّي لَصَادِقٌ وَإِنَّ سَنَا صِدْقِيْ يَلُوْحُ وَ يَبْهَرُ By God, I am not an imposter and I am true in my claim; And the light of my truth is shining bright. تَرَاءَتْ لَنَا كَالشَّمْسِ صَفْوَةُ أَمْرِنَا وَأَرْوَتْ حَدَائِقَنَا عُيُونُ تُنَفِّرُ The truth of my matter has become manifest like the sun; My gardens were watered by the springs that nourish them and enable them to flourish.
