97 ْ ٍ وَّخُلْقَھُم ِ قَوْم َ کِرَام ْق ی ِ َ طَر تَرَکْت ُ لِّتُحَقِّر عَامِدًا ٍّ َ بِمُد َجَوْت ھ You have abandoned moral qualities and the path of noble people; You intentionally insulted me at Mudh so as to denigrate me. ْ ُم ك َ بَيْن َ ِ و ِرَام ك ْ َ ال ْن ی َ مَابَ شَتَّان َ و ُ َحْذَر ی َ َخْشَی الْحَسِيْب َ و ی وَإِن َّ الْفَتٰی Surely, you and the righteous are poles apart; A pious person fears God and refrains from evil. َعْرِف ُ الْقِلٰی ی َ ْل َ ل ی تَرَکْنَاك َ حَتّٰی قِ ُ ْبِر ك الْمُسْتَ أَیُّهَا ْمًا ی ِ َ خَص فَجِئْت I had abandoned you, so much so that you said why was it that I was not willing to write anything to you? Conceited one! You have yourself now sought this encounter. ُ َ تَهْجُر ُ مَالَك اللَّعَّان َ أَیُّهَا أَل ُ و َ تَلْعَن ُ مَن ْ ھُو ْ مُرْسَل ٌ و َّ مُوَقَّر O one who curses me! What has gone wrong with you that you defame me, And thus curse the one who has been sent by God and granted honour by Him? ْ ْقَة َ بَاطِنِي ی ِ مَا تَدْرِي ْ حَق َ شَتَمْت َ و ُ ِ یُسْتَفْسَر ْ قَوْلِه ٍ مِّن ء ِ ُّ امْر وَکُل You hurled abuse at me while you were unaware of my reality; Remember, everyone will be held accountable for his words.
