FOREWORD The Promised Messiahas wrote I jāz-e-Ahmadī to respond to three bold assertions that Maulawi Sanaullah made during his debate with Ahmadi Muslims in the Indian city of Mudh Bhilowal, District Amirtsar, namely: 1. All the prophecies of the Promised Messiahas proved false; 2. He was ready for a mubāhalah [prayer duel] with the Promised Messiahas; and 3. He was capable of writing a book comparable to I jāzul-Masih, an eloquent Arabic work of the Promised Messiahas, whenever he desired. The Promised Messiahas wrote the present book in the span of just five days. In it, he rebuts forcefully the assertions made by Maulawī Sanaullah. In addition to the Urdu text, he penned a qaşīdah (ode) in classical Arabic, which depicted vividly the details of the Mudh Bhilowal debate, and cites numerous Signs manifested by Allah
