91 ٌ َ لَذِلَّة ْن ی َ الْغَافِلِ َاة ی َ َّ ح وَإِن ُ َدَّر ك ْ تَ أَو َ الصَّفَا ُ زَاد ْ قَلْبَه فَسَل To live a life of remissness is a cause of shame for man; Ask him if his heart has now become purer as compared to the past, or is it still occupied by worldly abominations. ْ ُم ك ُ َ حُسَيْن ْن ی فَأَ ُ بَارَزْنَا نَحْن إِذَا ُ أَخْبِر َ وَإِن ْ کُنْت َ تَحْمَدُه ُ فَأعْلِن ْ و Where will your [champion] Husain be when I will come out to confront him? If you praise him so highly, let him know of this. ْ ِّٰ إِنَّنِي وَتَالل ا ًّ ُ حَی أَتَحْسَبُه ُ وَیُقْبَر وَیُفْنٰی ْ یُّدْفٰی ُ کَمَن أَرَاه Do you think he is living? By God, I see him as someone already perished, dead, and in the grave. ْ َتِي ی ِدَا ھ ْ َبْغِي ی َ لَو ْ شَاء َ رَبِّي ْ کَان َ و ُ ْ یُبَصَّر َ مِمَّن ْ کَان َ رَبِّي ْ شَاء وَلَو If my Lord had so desired, Muhammad Husain would have accepted the truth; And if God my Lord had so willed, he would have recognized me. ٌ ُ مُعَظَّم وَالرَّجَاء ْ قَنَطْنَا إِن مَا َ و ُ ْ وَیُخْبِر ِ یُدْرِي ّٰ ُ الل َ وَحْي کَذٰلِك I have still not lost hope about him becoming a believer; Rather, hopes are high as this is what revelation from Allah means to convey.
