A Living Message 5 to you the night as well as the day. He gave you all that you wanted of Him. If you try to count the favours of God, you will not be able to number them… ( Surah Ibraheem, 14:33–35) Again: ١ۙ َو َسْمَّشلا َو َرَمَقْلا١ؕ َو ُمْوُجُّنلا ٌۢتٰرَّخَسُم ٖهِرْمَاِب١ؕ َّنِا ْيِف َكِلٰذ ٍتٰيٰاَل َ ر النَّهَا َكْلُفْلا َرِخاَوَم ِهْيِف َو اْوُغَتْبَتِل ْنِم ٖهِلْضَف َو ْمُكَّلَعَل َنْوُرُكْشَتَو َوُه ْيِذَّلا َرَّخَس َرْحَبْلا اْوُلُكْاَتِل ُهْنِم اًمْحَل اًّيِرَط َّو اْوُجِرْخَتْسَت ُهْنِم ًةَيْلِح اَهَنْوُسَبْلَت١ۚ َو ىَرَت ٍمْوَقِّل َنْوُلِقْعَّيَۙو اَم َاَرَذ ْمُكَل يِف ِضْرَاْلا اًفِلَتْخُم ٗهُناَوْلَا١ؕ َّنِا ْيِف َكِلٰذ ًةَيٰاَل ٍمْوَقِّل َنْوُرَّكَّذَّي َو َرَّخَس ُمُكَل َلْيَّلا َو He has constrained into service for you the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; and the stars too have been constrained into your service by His command. Surely, in that are Signs for a people who make use of their reason. He has constrained into service for you the things Me has created in the earth, of diverse hues. Surely, in that is a Sign for a people who take heed. He it is Who has subjected to you the sea, that you may take therefrom fresh flesh to eat, and the ornaments that you wear. Thou seest the ships ploughing it, that you may journey thereby , and that you may seek of His bounty, and that you may be grateful. ( Surah an-Nahl, 16:13–15) Reference to God’s Signs emphasizes the need for study and research so that the proper use of each thing may be discovered by acquiring knowledge of its properties and the laws governing them. The assurance that the whole universe is subjected to man’s service, and the certainty that everything in it is governed by laws,
