~ 404 ~ firm, while you have made Allah your surety…. 16:92 in Allah’s name, And make not Allah a tar- get for your oaths that you may thereby abstain from doing good and acting righteously and making peace between men… 2:225 punish- ment for false ¬ They have made their oaths a shield for their falsehoods , and thereby they seek to turn men away from the path of Allah; for them, there-fore, will be an humiliating pun- ishment. 58:17 Neither their wealth nor their children will avail them aught against Allah. They are the inmates of the Fire wherein they will abide. 58:18 Obey: Allah, Messen- ger, O ye who believe! obey Al- lah and His Messenger, and do not turn away from him while you hear his com- mands. 8:21 And it behoves not a be- lieving man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have de- cided a matter, that they should exercise their own choice in the matter con- cerning them. And whoso disobeys Allah and His Messenger, surely, strays away in manifest error. 33:37
