~ 24 ~ Destroyed, by fierce howling wind, And as for ‘ A d, they were destroyed by a fierce howl- ing wind, 69:7 Which God caused to blow against them for seven nights and eight days con- tinuously, so that thou mightest have seen the peo- ple therein lying prostrate, as though they were trunks of palm trees fallen down. 69:8 endowed with great physical strength, And remember the time when He made you heirs to His favours after the people of Noah and increasingly endowed you with great physical strength. 7:70 H u d as sent to ¬ , And !unto ‘ A d We sent their brother H u d. 7:66 H u d as , believers saved, And We saved him and those who were with him by Our mercy…. 7:73 rejected Messengers, Before them too the people of Noah, and the tribe of ‘ A d and Pharaoh, the Lord of stakes, rejected the Mes- sengers as liars; 38:13 Adam: abode on earth, …And for you there is an abode on the earth and a provision for a time.
