~ 159 ~ with Adam, And verily, We had made a covenant with Adam before- hand, but he forgot, and We found in him no resolve to disobey Us. 20:116 with Allah, Who break the covenant of Allah after having estab- lished it, and cut asunder what Allah has bidden to be joined, and create disorder in the earth; it is these that are the losers. 2:28 with believers, Verily, those who swear alle- giance to thee, indeed, swear allegiance to Allah. The hand of Allah is over their hands. So whoever breaks his oath, breaks it to his own loss; and whoever fulfils the covenant that he has made with Allah, He will, surely, give him a great reward. 48:11 with Jews, So, because of their break- ing their covenant, We have cursed them and have hard- ened their hearts.
