Malfuzat - English translation of Urdu Volume 10 126 is created in them that, despite differences of ideas, natures, and circumstances, people start to gather around his voice. Eventually, the time does come when there is only one flock and only one shepherd. God Almighty has Himself provided the means for gather- ing all auspicious souls upon one religion. The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was told: 1 ْلُق اَهُّيَاٰۤي ُساَّنلا ْيِّنِا ُلْوُسَر ِهّٰللا ْمُكْيَلِا اًعْيِمَج اًعْيِمَجاًعْيِمَجْلُق اَهُّيَاٰۤي ُساَّنلا ْيِّنِا ُلْوُسَر ِهّٰللا ْمُكْيَلِا اًعْيِمَج [to all] and جَمَعْنٰهُم ْ جَمْعًا جَمَعْنٰهُم ْ جَمْعًا [gathering them all] have a special correlation and it seems that the initial work for this gathering was put in motion in the time of the Holy Prophet, although the preparation of the means for it reached its perfection in this age. All the means of travel had not opened up in the time of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. It is written in at-Tafs i r al-Kab i r [a commentary on the Holy Quran] that there were places where the message of the Holy Prophet had not reached, whereas now news can reach from this corner of the world to the other by means of mail, tele- grams, and trains. Construction of a railway line in Hejaz also comes under this prophecy. Many Arabs have started saying that the time for 2 اَذِا ُراَشِعْلا ْتَلِّطُع اَذِا ُراَشِعْلا ْتَلِّطُع has come. The word ْ عِشَار ْ عِشَار [ ‘ishar —ten-month pregnant she-camels] itself indicated that all this would transpire before the Day of Judgement because it is written about that Day that every preg- nancy would miscarry and, moreover, everything would cease 1. Say, ‘O mankind! truly I am a Messenger to you all from Allah’ ( S u rah al-A‘r a f, 7:159). [Publisher] 2. And when the she-camels, ten-month pregnant, are abandoned ( S u rah at-Takw i r, 81:5).
