3 January 1908 (During a walk) Signs of the Latter Days Mentioned in the Holy Quran The Promised Messiah as said: It is mentioned in the Holy Quran that the disbelievers would say: 1 ْوَل اَّنُك ُعَمْسَن ْوَا ُلِقْعَن اَم اَّنُك ْۤيِف ِبٰحْصَا ِرْيِعَّسلا ْوَل اَّنُك ُعَمْسَن ْوَا ُلِقْعَن اَم اَّنُك ْۤيِف ِبٰحْصَا ِرْيِعَّسلا This shows that faith is not sound without thoughtful consid- eration. All the Signs mentioned in S u rah Takw i r pertain to the Latter Days. One of these Signs is: 2 َو اَذِا ُراَشِعْلا ْتَلِّطُع َو اَذِا ُراَشِعْلا ْتَلِّطُع meaning, ‘When she-camels would be left abandoned. ’ It was in exposi- tion of it, that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said 3 ْهَا ی عَلَ ی ٰ ُسْع ی َ ُتْرَكُن َّ الْقِلَص ُ فَل ی َ وَل ْهَا ی عَلَ ی ٰ ُسْع ی َ ُتْرَكُن َّ الْقِلَص ُ فَل ی َ وَل [i. e. then the she-camels will be abandoned, and no one will travel upon them] which 1. If we had but listened or possessed sense, we should not have been among the inmates of the blazing Fire ( S u rah al-Mulk, 67:11). [Publisher] 2. S u rah at-Takw i r, 81:5 [Publisher] 3. The present day edition of Musnad Ahmad bin H anbal, ( Kit a b B a qi Musnadul- Mukthir i n) has the same wording, whereas in S a hih Muslim (Kit a bul- I m a n, B a b Nuz u l ‘ I s a ibn Maryam, Hadith 155), instead of َن ك َ وَلَیُتْر َن ك َ وَلَیُتْر the word َّ َن ك َ وَلَتُتْر َّ َن ك َ وَلَتُتْر is recorded.
