366 MALFŪZĀT - ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF URDU VOLUME 8 17 APRIL 1906 The Practice of Allah with Respect to Miracles The Promised Messiahas said: Some people desire that the miracles they ask for be shown to them. This is not right. This is not the practice of Allah the Exalted. If satisfaction is provided to the extent that God Almighty's law permits providing satisfaction, then a person becomes liable to be held to account. God's Acceptance of Those who Enter this Jamāʻat The Promised Messiahas said: God Almighty has told me that He will accept those who enter this Jama'at. The rest who persist in their stubbornness and deny by way of wretchedness cannot be held to be righteous. Religious Wisdom is Sharpened by Righteousness The Promised Messiahas said: Religious intellect and worldly intellect are different. Those trained in worldly wisdom cannot claim that they have also acquired religious wisdom. Instead, religious wisdom is sharp- ened by taqwā [righteousness]. God Almighty has said:
