Malf uza t - English translation of Urdu Volume 8 112 not open for Islam; on the contrary, this belief will continue to help Christianity. Those who love Jesus being alive should ponder [over the fact] that a person can be hanged based on the testimony of two witnesses, but here so many testimonies are present, and yet they go on denying it. Allah the Exalted says in the Holy Quran: 1 ىٰۤسْيِعٰي ْيِّنِا َكْيِّفَوَتُم َو َكُعِفاَر َّيَلِا ىٰۤسْيِعٰي ْيِّنِا َكْيِّفَوَتُم َو َكُعِفاَر َّيَلِا And then Jesus’ own admission is found in the same Glorious Quran: 2 اَّمَلَف ْيِنَتْيَّفَوَت َتْنُك َتْنَا َبْيِقَّرلا ْمِهْيَلَع اَّمَلَف ْيِنَتْيَّفَوَت َتْنُك َتْنَا َبْيِقَّرلا ْمِهْيَلَع And the meaning of ْ تَوَفِّی ْ تَوَفِّی —[ tawaff i ] being death is also proven from the Glorious Quran itself, because this very word has also been used for the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, as is said: 3 َو اَّمِا َكَّنَيِرُن َضْعَب ْيِذَّلا ْمُهُدِعَن ْوَا َكَّنَيَّفَوَتَن َو اَّمِا َكَّنَيِرُن َضْعَب ْيِذَّلا ْمُهُدِعَن ْوَا َكَّنَيَّفَوَتَن Also, the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, has used the same expression ْ ْتَنِي َّی ا تَوَف َّ فَلَم ْ ْتَنِي َّی ا تَوَف َّ فَلَم —[ fa lamm a tawaffaitan i ], whose meaning is death alone. This word has been similarly used for Joseph and other people. So, this being the case, how can it have any other meaning?
