'¹ 11 JUNE 1905 Replies to Some Objections about the Earthquake Prophecy The Promised Messiahas said: One person has objected that as there is no specific date men- tioned for the earthquake, this prophecy is meaningless. The Promised Messiahas said: The reply to this is that Allah the Exalted has said بَغْتَةً about it, meaning that this event will occur suddenly and unexpectedly. Therefore, asking for a specific date is irrelevant. If a date were given by Allah the Exalted, it would be contradictory to the initial revelation.
