Malf uza t - English translation of Urdu Volume 9 360 The Announcement of Bar a h i n [ -e-Ahmadiyya ] was with Pure Intention The Promised Messiah as said: When I issued the announcement in Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya that I will give ten thousand rupees to anyone who invalidates those arguments, it was with pure intention. I had written only that amount that I could pay and only that could be accu- mulated at the time. I wrote such a book only for the love of Islam and to establish the honour of the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and with it made this much of an announcement. I never had it in my mind to earn money through it, and it was free from any materialistic endeavour. The consequence of it was that I did not have to pay even a single rupee, let alone ten thousand rupees. On the contrary, tens of thousands of rupees came to me after it. This is the result of sincere intention. Exemplary Physician A patient, who had come to Hadrat Maulaw i Noor-ud-Deen ra for treat- ment from elsewhere, also came before the Promised Messiah as to offer sal a m [the greeting of peace]. During the conversation, the Promised Messiah as said: The being of Maulaw i Sahib is very much a bounty. His diag- nosis is excellent, and above all he prays for the patient as well. Can physicians like this be found anywhere?
