23 August 1907 355 23 August 1907 (At the time of ‘A s r) Dr ‘Abdul- H ak i m’s Claim of being the Messiah There was a discussion about the claim of Dr ‘Abdul- H ak i m Khan, the apostate, being the Messiah. The Promised Messiah as said: He names me the Dajj a l [Antichrist]. It is odd that for twenty years he testified to the truth of the Antichrist and was subser- vient to him. Has there ever been a messiah who had been sub- servient to the Antichrist for twenty years? A Hindu has written about ‘Abdul- H ak i m that, ‘No filthy word has ensued from the tongue of the one he had pledged allegiance to, but he [‘Abdul- H ak i m] is so wretched that he abuses the one to whom he had pledged allegiance for twenty years. ’ The Promised Messiah as said: I desire to hear the response to the question that what kind of messiah is he who stays subservient to the Antichrist for twenty years? How strange is this that he was true, he was a messiah and also a messenger but spent twenty years under an oath of allegiance to the Antichrist, and continued to testify to the truth of the Antichrist and related true dreams, visions and rev- elations in the support of the Antichrist. ‘Abdul- H ak i m writes to someone about a person, ‘I have seen this dream that this person will die of the plague as he has
