If one or two statements of an individual are fulfilled on a rare occasion, then such a one cannot be termed a Prophet as I have witnessed that sometimes even the dream of the most wicked person can be true. Not just the wicked, but even some- times the dream seen by a k a fir [disbeliever] can come out to be true. This, in fact, is by way of conclusively establishing the argu- ment; in other words, God Almighty teaches that though this ability is found innately in man—for if there was no example, then people would not accept it—but this does not mean that anyone who sees a dream becomes a Wal i. Only when Divine discourse descends with its full glory and is accompanied by the showering of Signs like rain, should it then be believed with certainty as being from God.
