Malf uza t - English translation of Urdu Volume 9 104 Nothing is impossible for Allah the Almighty. He can change a heart when He so wishes. If he [Muhammad Husain] were to reflect, then this Sign alone would be sufficient for him that during the time of his review of Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya I was alone, and now the prophecy: ْقٍ. ی ِ ُل ِّ فَج ٍّ عَم ک ْ َأْتُوْن َ مِن ی ْقٍ. ی ِ ُل ِّ فَج ٍّ عَم ک ْ َأْتُوْن َ مِن ی So many people will come to you that the track on which they travel will become deep. is being fulfilled. As for the religious tenets, there is not that big a difference between them. It is only a matter of understanding. Let us first take the issue of the death of Jesus. Regarding this there are differing statements of their own scholars. How can they malign me for preferring one statement over others? There is a dispute regarding the meaning of ْ ْتَنِي ی تَوَفَّ ْ ْتَنِي ی تَوَفَّ [ tawaffaitan i ] but in my view, whichever meaning is taken, it supports our view. If, by 1 ۡ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّیۡتَنِی ۡ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّیۡتَنِی it is meant, ‘but since You raised me, then You were the Watcher over them’; even then, it is apparent that he [ Jesus as ] did not come back into the world a second time; otherwise, he would not have relied on this excuse. Next take the incident of the Mi‘r a j. It is certainly not our doctrine that it was a dream, or that only the soul ascended, rather I say that the Noble Messenger, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, experienced the Mi‘r a j in a state of per- fect wakefulness, with a sublime body, but these are spiritual matters. How can the dull mullahs comprehend them. Next is the claim to Divine converse. This also is nothing new. It is also proven by the practice of Allah, and man’s heart yearns for it, too. The same is written in Fut uh -ul-Ghaib and 1. S u rah al-M a ’idah , 5 :118 [Publisher]
