Mahzarnama 113 M. A. " This statement can be made only if it is possible for a human being to obtain the degree of M. A. But if the M. A. degree has as such been irrevocably rescinded, and it is no longer possible for anyone to obtain the M. A. degree, then on the death of a promising student it cannot be remarked: Had he lived, he would surely have become a recipient of M. A. degree. The Imams of the Compilation of Ahadith are agreed on the authenticity of this saying of the Holy Prophet sa : Had he (Ibrahim) lived, he certainly would have become a true Prophet. Imam Shahaab wrote: viz. As for the authenticity of this Hadith , there is no doubt in it, because it has been included by Ibn Maajah and others, for instance it is mentioned by Ibn Hajr.
