The Promised Messiah as extracted priceless gems for us by diving deep into the knowledge and wisdom of the Holy Quran. After gaining cognition of this Quran [taught to us by the Promised Messiah as ], how can we follow another! Allamah Alusi has refuted another famous yet outrageous story in Tafs i r R uh ul-Ma‘ a n i. According to the story, a Satan took the signet ring of Hadrat Sulaim a n as , threw it away, and thus his kingdom was lost. (The Quran does not support this; rather it relates Hadrat Sulaim a n’s as prayer that he may be granted a kingdom that has no parallel. ) Hadrat Sulaim a n as lost his kingdom to the Satan whose name was Sehr. (For details see Tafs i r al-Kash-sh a f , Tafs i r S u rah Sa d , under verse 38:35. ) The next episode which Hadrat Sulaim a n as is charged with is totally unbearable. Tafs i r R uh ul-Ma‘ a n i says about Hadrat Sulaim a n as under verse S u rah Sa d , 38:35: This Satan continued having intercourse with the wives of Hadrat Sulaim a n during their menstruations.
