282 With Love to Muhammad sa the Kh ā tam-un-Nabiyy ī n a َ Dَان a ْ إن a َ َّمcَ:َو a ِ ْہiَcَ@ a ُ اﷲ a َّcَ< a اﷲ a ِ رَ:ُول a إFَ a ُ ِدَہeْWُM a حَتَّ a َ ذFَِک َ B a ُ ْہeِG a ُ َہ]ِdَ: a ِ بْن a َ إبْرَاiِKم a ُ بْن a ِ اﷲ a ُ @َبْد a جَاeَWَFَا a َ ذFِک a َcَ@ a ُ Hَحْن a َاeْiَب a َ Kُر Mَْرَۃ a أبِ a ِّ Hَص a ْ Gِن a ِ iِBہ a َاeََّْرB a وَاFَّذِي a َ اFْحَدMِث a َ ذFِک a َاHَْرDََذB a ً Cَارِظ َ M a َ أبَاKُر Mَْرَۃ a ُ ْت]ِdَ: a ِّHأ a ُ أ;fَْد a َ إبْرَاiِKم a ُ بْن a ِ اﷲ a ُ @َبْد a َاeَF a َ Bَ`َال a ُ ْہeَ@ a ُ `ُول a WَGْجِدِي a َّ وَإن a ِ اﻻHَْْبiَِاء a ُ آخِر a ِّHَِاB a َ ّمcَ:َو a ِ ْہiَcَ@ a ُ اﷲ a َّcَ< a ِ اﷲ a ُ رَ:ُول a َ Cَال ِ اWَdْFَاجِد a ُ آخِر Hazrat Ab ū Hurairah ra reported: “Prayer in the mosque of All ā h’s Messenger sa is more excellent than a thousand prayers in other mosques except the Masjid Al-Har ā m , for All ā h’s Messenger sa is the Ā khir-ul-Anbiy ā ’ , and his mosque is the Ā khir- ul-Mas ā jid ”. Ab ū Salama and Ab ū ‘Abdull ā h (two of the narrators in this chain of narrations) said: “We had no doubt that what Ab ū Hurairah ra had said was from All ā h’s Messenger sa , and so we did not like to get an attestation from Ab ū Hurairah ra about this had ī th until Ab ū Hurairah ra died. We discussed it (the issue of getting attestation from Ab ū Hurairah ra ) amongst ourselves and blamed one another as to why we did not talk about it to Ab ū Hurairah ra so that he could attribute its transmission to All ā h’s Messenger sa in case he had heard it from him. While we were discussing it as we sat with ‘Abdull ā h b. Ibr ā h ī m b. Q ā riz, we made a mention of this had ī th , and our omission (in getting its attestation) about its direct transmission by Ab ū Hurairah from him (the Holy Prophet sa ); thereupon, ‘Abdull ā h b. Ibr ā h ī m said to us: ‘I bear witness to the fact that I heard Ab ū Hurairah ra say that All ā h’s Messenger sa said: ‘I am the Ā khir-ul-Anbiy ā ’ and my mosque is the Ā khir-ul- Mas ā jid’. ’” 279 279 Sah ī h Muslim , Book 7, Chapter 90, Had ī th 3211
