Continuation of Prophethood according to the Holy Qur’ ā n 257 compilations. The reader is expected to take Farhan Khan’s word for it when, in reality, it seems to be an exercise meant to confound the truth with falsehood and this is against the very teachings of the Holy Qur’ ā n. It also appears to be a deceptive tactic to misguide those individuals who have a very basic knowledge of their beliefs or those who may not find the time to do proper research to check the validity of Farhan Khan’s faulty claims. The third problem with his arguments is that he considers that had ī th to be informing us of the reason behind the revelation of S ū rah An-Nis ā ’, verse 70. This is absolutely faulty reasoning. Not only is that had ī th too weak to be considered a reason for the revelation of 4:70, it is the practice of All ā h, the Exalted, to elucidate the reason for the revelation of particular verses Himself wherever He deems it necessary. If All ā h, the Exalted, does not provide the reason, it is not appropriate for us to go looking for those reasons in weak ah ā d ī th. We should not try to confine the meanings of clear verses into specific contexts when All ā h, the Exalted, has not intended it Himself. Instead, we should accept the messages of the verses as they are presented. To illustrate this, here are a few examples from the Holy Qur’ ā n: ْ اِذ ِْ اﺛْﻨَني َِ اثَىن ﻛَﻔَﺮُوْا َ اذلَِّﻳْﻦ ُ اَﺧْﺮَﺟَﻪ ْ اِذ ُّٰ اهلل ُ ﻧَرصََﻩ ْ ﻓَﻘَﺪ ُ ﺗَـﻨْرصُُوْﻩ َّ اِﻻ ْ حتَْﺰَن َ ﻻ ٖ ﻟِﺼَﺎﺣِﺒِﻪ ُ ﻳَﻘُﻮْل ْ اِذ ِ اﻟْﻐَﺎر ِْ ىف مهَُﺎ ﻣَﻌَﻨَﺎ َّٰ اهلل َّ اِن ۚ ُّٰ اهلل َ ﻓَﺎَﻧْﺰَل ﻛَﻔَﺮُوا َ اذلَِّﻳْﻦ َ لكَِﻤَﺔ َ وَﺟَﻌَﻞ ﺗَﺮَوْﻫَﺎ ْ ﻟَّﻢ ٍ جبُِﻨُﻮْد ٗ وَاَﻳَّﺪَﻩ ِ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻪ ٗ ﺳَﻜِﻴْﻨَـﺘَﻪ ٰ اﻟﺴُّﻔْىل ؕ ٌْ ﺣَﻜِمي ٌ ﻋَﺰِﻳْﺰ ُّٰ وَاهلل ؕ اﻟْﻌُﻠْﻴَﺎ َِ ىه ِّٰ اهلل ُ وَلكَِﻤَﺔ If you help him not, then know that All ā h helped him even when the disbelievers drove him forth while he was one of the two when they were both in the cave,
