Opinion of the Sah ā ba ra , Ā ’immah, and Mujaddid ī n rh 211 The ah ā d ī th compiled by Hazrat Im ā m Jal ā l-ud-D ī n Suy ū t ī rh show that the following six sahaba ra interpreted the phrase Kh ā tam-an-Nabiyy ī n exactly in accordance with the interpretation of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jam ā ‘at. 1. Hazrat Ayesha ra Say that he was Kh ā tam-un-Nabiyy ī n, but do not say that there will be no prophet after him. 2. Hazrat Mugh ī rah ra A man in the company of Al-Mugh ī rah bin Ab ī Shu‘bah said, “May All ā h bless Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets, there is no prophet after him. ” Al-Mugh ī rah said, “It was enough for you when you said, ‘The Seal of the Prophets,’ for we used to discuss that ‘ Ī s ā as shall appear. So, when he appears, he shall be before him [the Prophet Muhammad sa ] and after him”. 3. Hazrat ‘Al ī ra 4. Hazrat Ab ū ‘Abd-ur-Rahm ā n Al-Sulamiyya ra , the teacher of Hazrat Im ā m Hassan ra and Im ā m Hussain ra 5. Hazrat Im ā m Hassan ra 6. Hazrat Im ā m Hussain ra Hazrat Ab ū ‘Abd-ur-Rahm ā n Al-Sulamiyya ra said, “I was appointed to teach Hassan ra and Hussain ra [the Holy Qur’ ā n]. Then, once, Hazrat ‘Al ī bin Ab ī T ā lib ra passed by me and I was teaching them to read, ‘wa Kh ā tim-an-Nabiyy ī n. ’ Then, he [Hazrat ‘Al ī ra ] said to me, ‘Teach them to recite, ‘wa Kh ā tam- an-Nabiyy ī n’ with the fatah on t ā. ’”
