309 Closing Comments Hazrat Mirz ā Ghul ā m Ahmad Q ā di ā n ī as came as a prophet of All ā h, the Exalted, and as the Promised Messiah and Im ā m Mahd ī , whose advent had long been awaited by the Muslims. His claims are exactly in accordance with the criteria set by the Holy Qur’ ā n and he fulfilled all the signs of his arrival recorded in authentic ah ā d ī th. Acceptance of the Messiah of the Latter Days has been emphasized in countless traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa and disbelieving in him amounts to disregard for those traditions.
