Then there will be Khil ā fah upon the footsteps of prophethood as long as All ā h wills. . . Then there will be kingdom and it shall remain as long as All ā h wills. . . Then there will be Khil ā fah upon the footsteps of prophethood. 306 The last portion of this had ī th specifically mentions that Khil ā fah shall be established upon the footsteps of prophethood. In other words, just as Khil ā fah was established upon the footsteps of the prophethood of the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa , the Khil ā fah of the Latter Days was also meant to be established on the footsteps of prophethood.
