Continuation of Prophethood according to Ah ā d ī th 289 where the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa did not speak of Masjid- an-Nabw ī as the last in a sequence. Consider the following ah ā d ī th : a حَدَّثeَِ a ً وKَْب a ُ ابْن a حَدَّثeََا a ُّ ِcْMَْاﻻ a ً دiِ]َ: a ُ بْن a ُ Kارُون a وَحَدَّثeََا a َّ أن a ُ حَدَّثَہ a ً أHَس a أبِ a َ بْن a َ @dِْرَان a َّ أن a ً َر_ْ]َج a ُ بْن a ِ اFْحiِdَد a ُ @َبْد َّ اﻻAََْر a َ َانdْcَ: a a ِ اﷲ a َ رَ:ُول a َّ أن a ُ Mُخْبِر a َ أبَاKُر Mَْرَۃ a َ ِعdَ: a ُ أHَّہ a ُ حَدَّثَہ a َ WَGَاجِد a ِ ثََثَۃ a إFَ a ُ َرBَاWُM a َاdَّHإ a َ Cَال a َ َّمcَ:َو a ِ ْہiَcَ@ a ُ اﷲ a َّcَ< َ إicMَاء a ِ وWَGَْجِد a وWَGَْجِدِي a ِ اaْFَ]ْبَۃ a ِ ْجِدWَG Hazrat Ab ū Hurairah ra reported All ā h’s Messenger sa as saying: “One should undertake journey to three mosques: the Mosque of the Ka‘abah , my Mosque, and the Mosque of Eli ā ( Bait-ul-Muqaddas )”. 286 a ِ ابْن a ْ @َن a ٍا]iِdَج a ً حَرْب a ُ بْن a ُ وَزiَKُْر a ُ اeFَّاCِد a @dَْرو a حَدَّثeَِ a ُ َانiْ_ُ: a حَدَّثeََا a @dَْرو a َ Cَال a َ َۃeْiَiُ@ a ً دiِ]َ: a ْ @َن a ِّ اFزKُّْرِي a ْ @َن a َ ﻻ a َ َّمcَ:َو a ِ ْہiَcَ@ a ُ اﷲ a َّcَ< a َّ َِّبeFا a ِ بِہ a ُ ُغcَْبM a َ KرMَ ْرَۃ a أبِ a ْ @َن a ِ وWَGَْجِد a Kذَا a WَGْجِدِي a َ WَGَاجِد a ِ ثََثَۃ a إFَ a َّ إﻻ a ُ اFرِّحَال a ُّ تXَُد َYْCَْاﻻ a ِ وWَGَْجِد a ِ اFْحَرَام Hazrat Ab ū Hurairah ra reported it directly from All ā h’s Apostle sa that he said: “Do not undertake journey but to three mosques: this Mosque of mine, the Mosque of Al-Har ā m and the Mosque of Aqs ā ( Bait-ul-Muqaddas )”. 287 286 Sah ī h Muslim , Book 7, Had ī th Number 3220 287 Sah ī h Muslim , Book 7, Had ī th Number 3218
