Opinion of the Sah ā ba ra , Ā ’immah, and Mujaddid ī n rh 213 Moving further into this discussion, let us now see what some of the ā ’immah have said in commentary of the statement of Hazrat Ayesha ra above. 8. Hazrat Shaikh Al-Im ā m Hazrat Ibn Qutaiba rh writes in T ā w ī l Mukhtalif Al-Ah ā d ī th , Page 236: This statement of hers does not contradict the statement of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of All ā h be on him), “L ā nabiyya ba’ad ī ” [There is no prophet after me] because he meant, “There would be no prophet after me, who abrogates what I came with [or who opposes my law]. ” 9. Hazrat Imam Muhammad T ā hir rh writes in Takmilah Majma‘ul-Bih ā r , Page 85: This [statement of Hazrat Ayesha ra ] had reference to the advent of ‘ Ī s ā as.
