134 With Love to Muhammad sa the Kh ā tam-un-Nabiyy ī n there was a danger of confusion being made between the revelation of the Holy Qur’an and others. Based on this situation, the Holy Prophet sa only made this singular interpretation of the word mubashir ā t by saying that it refers to “true dreams. ” All ā ma Ibn Hajar illustrates this further when he writes: ُّ اWFِّر a َ وDََان a بَ]ْد a ْ Gِن a وDََثْرَتہ a زeَGَہ a ِB a gFام a ْ اﻻ a Hَدُور a ِB ہ a. . . a َ ذFَِک a ِB a اcFبْس a Gِن a ِ ْنGَِْٔF a ِ بِہ a اﷲ a ُ اِخْتYََّہ a ْ َنdِF He states that the frequency of revelation (for others) was minimal close to the time of the Holy Prophet sa as compared to the later period due to this secret of the Decree of All ā h that the revelation of the Qur’ ā n may not be mixed with any other type of revelation. 131 The Clue in the Word Al-Mubashir ā t The final point to be noted is that the word al-mubashir ā t indicates a very important message of the Holy Qur’ ā n. When we search the Holy Qur’an for the mention of any bash ā rat or glad tiding, we are obliged to say that there is a bash ā rat given to the people by Hazrat ‘ Ī s ā as with the very words: ُ اَمحَْﺪ ۤٗ امسُْﻪ ْ ﺑَﻌْﺪِى ْۢ ﻣِﻦ ِْ ايَّْىت ٍ ﺑِﺮَﺳُﻮْل وَﻣُﺒَرشًِّا …giving glad tidings of a Messenger who will come after me. His name will be Ahmad… 132 ’ 131 Ibid. 132 S ū rah As-Saff, 61:7
