No matter how much Farhan Khan tries to throw dust in the eyes of the reader, the conclusion drawn by Im ā m Ibn Hajar rh is exactly the same as the conclusion drawn by Ahmad ī Muslims. In fact, he even disagrees with the above statement of Im ā m Ibn Hajar rh when he writes, “However, the Had ī th itself speaks about Prophets, not laws. ” 139 Fourth, Farhan Khan writes, “the Ahmad ī [Muslims] quote Ibn Khald ū n in his great work Al-Muqaddimah. Yet they selectively leave out the part of the excerpt that goes against their beliefs. ” 140 This is not true! The way that Ibn Khald ū n understood the had ī th is exactly the same as the way Ahmad ī Muslims understand it.
