We do affirm that sacrificing one’s life for the welfare of the serv- ants of God or being ready to do so is a high moral condition, but it would be sheer folly if the useless act of suicide were to be included in this category. A suicide like this is strictly prohibited and it is the work of the ignorant and the hasty. Of course, the most commendable way of sacrificing one’s life is manifest from the life of the perfect Reformer whose name is Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, the Chosen One. —Author
