T H e J O u r NA l—F AT e H M A S IH T H e J O u r NA l—F AT e H M A S IH 157 [Letter from ‘A d dud-D i n] ُ لٰوۃ َّ ِِّٰ علٰی مَا بَقٰی و َ الص لل ُ ِِّٰ عَلٰی مَا مَضٰی وَالْحَمْد لل ُ حِیْمِ. اَلْحَمْد َّ حْمٰن ِ الر َّ بِسْم ِ الل ِّٰ الر ْت ِ الْمُصْطَفٰی ي َْل َ ب ه د ٍ خَیر ُ الوَرٰی و َ اَ َّ لَم ُ علٰی مُحَم َّ وَالس 1 ہ ِ الْمُجْتَبٰی ِّ وَعَلَی الْمُؤْمِنِیْن َ بِنَبِی Let it be clear to my beloved People of Islam that I have, in the meantime, received the book N u rul- H aq sent by the beloved Imam, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sahib of Qadian, and I perused it. I also came across some writings of Muhammad Husain of Batala upon seeing which I felt great sorrow that, despite all his perspi- cacity and astuteness and his widespread fame and having had the opportunity to stay in the company of Mirza sahib and having praised Mirza sahib for a while, he suddenly reversed to the extent of condemning him as an infidel. (Look, how great is the differ- ence between the two ways!) Even though the plight of the age is becoming manifest like a mirror, and he can see that the people of the Dajj a l [Antichrist] are practicing their deceptive ways to the maximum extent, and the Hadith of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, are coming true, yet he does not understand the purport of. ی ٰ فِرْعَوْن َ مُوس ِّ لِكُل [Every Pharaoh has a Moses]. 1. In the name of Allah the Gracious, the Merciful. Praise be to the l ord for all that has passed and all that shall come to pass. Peace and bless- ings be upon the Best of Mankind, Muhammad, and the family of the c hosen One, and upon all the believers, for the sake of His c hosen Prophet. [Publisher]
