as VISITS LUDHIANA & SANAUR 131 found fault with Ahmad as and quoted scripture against him. Ahmad as visited Ludhiana again on October 14th, 1884 to inquire after the health of M i r ‘Abb a s Ali. He stayed there only for a day or two. My uncle, M. Abdullah Sanauri, says that Ahmad as visited Sanaur also in 1884 at his request (he went from Sirhind) and blessed his humble home with his presence. My uncle’s grandfather, Muhammad Bakhsh, was alive at that time and had the honour of shaking hands with him. How sweet of Ahmad as to deepen and consecrate the bond of companionship with his humble servants with such acts of grace and kindness!
