His idea was to prepare them for missionary work and it was announced on October 10th, that the candidates must study the following books for this purpose: Fat h- e-Islam , Tau dih -e-Mar a m , Iz a la’-e- Auh a m , Anj a m-e- A thim and Surma Chashm A rya. A feast was held on November 30th, 1901, to celebrate the A m i n of his children Mirza Bashir Ahmad ra , Mirza Sharif Ahmad ra and Mub a raka Begum ra , who was called 'Nawab' in one of Ahmad’s as revelations on November 19th, 1901. A special poem was written by him for this occasion and orphans and the poor were entertained. The poem contained a mighty prophecy: It referred to his eldest son Mirza Mahmood Ahmad ra who was very much interested in those days in his newly formed association called the Tash Hi dhul Adhh a n. Meetings were held every week and speeches were made by members. In view of the impending spread of plague in India Ahmad as published an Ishtih a r in Arabic, Persian and Urdu about plague on December 10th, 1901; in it he emphasised the necessity and importance of physical, moral and spiritual purity and cleanliness.
