In September 1894 (see Anw a rul Islam ), God gave Ahmad as the glad tidings of another son who was born on May 24th, 1895. He was named Sharif Ahmad. He is now a Captain and an Honorary Assistent Recruiting Officer in the Lahore Division. He is the father of four children. One of his sons is a Barrister-at-Law and another is a Major in the Army. In 1896 God informed Ahmad as that a daughter would be born to him. She would be reared, He said, in ornaments. Accordingly, a daughter was born in March 1897, and she was named Mub a raka. God also called her Nawab in a revelation (November 1901) and she was married to Nawab Muhammad Ali Khan, a chief of the Malerkotla State. She is also blessed with a number of children. There is another domestic incident which deserves notice here. Mirza Mahmood Ahmad ra , the first son of Ahmad as , born in 1889, was now about eight years old. He finished learning the simple reading of the Holy Quran and it was an occasion of joy and prayer for Ahmad as.
