The aggressiveness of the Christians had been excessive, A thim had himself declared in his book Andr u na’-e-Bible that the Founder sa of Islam was a Dajj a l (Antichrist), and this unmerited abuse heaped upon Ahmad’s as beloved Master had given him indescribable pain. Hence Ahmad as was anxious to vindicate his honour. This accounts for the extraordinary ending of the debate. There were present that day about 70 men when Ahmad as made the above-mentioned prophecy. Employed by Rajab Ali in the Saf i r Hind Press, Amritsar, and made responsible for producing the first part of the Br a h i n-e-Ahmadiyya. Started a Press of his own, Riy ad -e-Hind, in Hall Bazaar. Printed the 2nd and the 3rd parts of the book at his Press at Rajab Ali’s orders and the 4th at Ahmad’s as direct order. Went to Bokhara for a year and on his return became an Ahmadi. Coming back from Ferozepur Ahmad as broke his journey at Amritsar and stayed at Sh. N u r Ahmad’s ra for a day or two. When Ahmad as came to Amritsar for the debate Sh. N u r Ahmad ra could not find a suitable house and offered his own. Later, however, as the debate progressed and Muslims were impressed by Ahmad as , a notable of the town, Haji Mahmood, placed his spacious residence at the disposal of the party.
