239 CHAPTER 22 ANGER OF MULLAHS These books, Fat h -e-Islam and Tau dih -e-Mar a m , roused the ire of the orthodox ministry. Abdul Jabb a r of Amritsar was very angry indeed. Abdul H aq Ghaznavi, a follower of Abdul Jabb a r, challenged Ahmad as to Mub a hala to settle the question of the death of Jesus as , whom they believed to be sitting alive in the heavens in his physical body.
