Therefore, I shall give the simple meaning of the important portions of the sal ā t : I âÃI ä R ® ö O Z I ã«G¿M ä R ® ö O Z I FOZ I âM±I… [Tasmiyyah] [ bismill ā h-ir-rahm ā n-ir-rah ī m :] In the name of Allah, Who provided all the resources for our training and progress, and Who rewards our deeds with the best recompense. subh ā nakall ā humma wa bihamdika : Holy Art Thou, O Allah, and all praise is Thine. wa tab ā rakasmuka : And, blessed is Thy name wa ta’ ā l ā jadduka : And, exalted is Thy state. wa l ā il ā ha ghairuka : And, there is none worthy of worship save Thee alone. a‘udhu bill ā hi minash-shait ā nir-raj ī m : I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed (that is, I seek refuge from all adverse effects and thoughts which take away from Allah, the Almighty).
