124 KHILAFAT-E-R A SHIDAH then follow the course of action laid down by Allah, the Almighty about Khulaf a ’-e-R a shid i n. If the authorities are worldly then act upon those commands which Allah, the Almighty and His Messenger have given about them. Separate Commands for the Two Types of Authorities Now we see whether Allah and His Messenger have given separate commands for the two types of authorities or not. If this is so then what are they? We see that the Holy Prophet sa has given two different commands for two types of authorities.
