178 KHILAFAT-E-R A SHIDAH 32 “The Holy Prophet sa said, Prophethood will remain among you as long as God desires, then God will take back this blessing, and will bless you with Khilafat on the pattern of Prophethood, and it will remain among you as long as God desires, then God will take it back, and will establish kingdom as long as He desires. ” The critics conclude that the Holy Prophet sa did not consider the Khulaf a ’ to be kings as it is said that there will be Khilafat and then the kingdom. It shows that the people of Ummat-e-Muhammadiyyah can get neither Khilafat of Prophethood, nor of kingship.
