The day of September 10 th had been fixed for its inauguration. On 23 May 1982, Huzoor rta travelled from Rabwah to Islamabad to obtain the visas. But Allah willed something else. Huzoor rta was staying at Baitul-Fazl in sector F-8/2 Islamabad. Daily prayers were also being held there. On Wednesday 26 May he suddenly fell ill during Isha’a prayers. Huzoor rta led the remaining prayer while sitting down. This was the initial phase of a heart attack. On 3 June, a well-known cardiologist from England, Dr Steven Jenkins, was called. He was of the opinion that Huzoor rta had suffered a massive heart attack on 31 May. Later, his condition became critical and after a few days the unthinkable event took place – an event which was unbearable for ten million members of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
