Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih III rta 14 FORMAL DEDICATION OF LIFE Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih III rta stayed in England from 1934 to 1938. He also visited some other European countries during this time. There was always an intense yearning in his heart to serve Islam. Once when he was in Germany, he saw in a dream that he was with Adolf Hitler who was giving him a tour of a museum. There, in it, was a heart of stone with La Ilaaha Illallahu Muhammadur Rasulullah inscribed on it. While still in Germany, he wrote a letter dedicating his life to his father and the Khalifah of the time. He wrote: “Though I am already a Waqf , yet I present myself to you again. From this time onwards, I am available for the service of Ahmadiyyat and hold servitude to the Community dearer than all honours and consider my life to be empty and wasteful if spent away from the service of the Community. ” Hazrat Musleh Mauood ra was extremely pleased at receiving this letter. He wrote a detailed letter in reply to this and said: “May Allah bless your intention! Despite my intense desire I never liked to say anything regarding this and always prayed to Allah to grant you the ability to make this blessed decision.
