He arrived in London on 2 July and from there he reached America on 25 July. This was his first ever tour of the North American continent. He visited Washington, Dayton, New York, New Jersey and Madison. The Mayor of Dayton presented him with the key of the city. Huzoor rta delivered spirited addresses at the Annual Conventions. On 13 August 1976, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in America hosted a farewell banquet in Washington for Huzoor rta.
