39 he attains to his happiness in God and God the Almighty is equally pleased with him, such a one, as a reward of it, becomes a servant of Allah the Excellent. In other words, he attains to the objective laid down in the verse: و ما خلقت الجن والانس الا ليعبدون. And i. e. , I created not jinn and man except to serve me. who attains to the object of his creation, he necessarily, and و ادخلی جنتی :becomes deserving of the command enter the paradise of Allah the Supreme. ". The above verse shows that the object of the creation of mankind is that they should become the servants of Allah. . And who would dare repudiate the object of human creation laid down by Alalh the Almighty?. Allah has not merely stated this as the aim of human creation; He has gone a step further. He has declared that such men will be born among the human species as would achieve that end, and giving them the glad tidings, He says: "O thou the contented soul come back to thy Lord while thou art happy with Him and He is pleased with thee, join therefore my servants and enter my paradise. ". STATE OF CONTENTED SOUL. Here another subtle truth has been hinted at; it pertains the one راضية مرضية to the condition of the contented soul with whom God is pleased and who is similarly happy with his Lord. About the companions of the Holy Prophet (peace of Allah be on him and His blessings), He observes. e Allah was pleased with them and رضی الله عنهم ورضوا عنه they were happy with Him (98:9). This verse would in the light of the verse, z. . . . "düisball will read like this: يا أيتها النفس المطمئنة جنتی clearly these verses of the يا أيتها الجماعة للصحابة
