70 JESUS IN INDIA away from God became a subject in the Kingdom of Satan and there developed a real animosity between him and God! The same allegation of his being accursed, was applied to him by the Christians also, but they have, due to their ignorance, tried to combine two opposing things in one and the same place. On the one hand, they declared Jesus, the Messiah, to be the Son of God, and on the other, they also declare him to be accursed. And they admit themselves that one who is accursed is the son of Darkness and of Satan, or rather, he is Satan himself. So, these were the foul allegations made against Jesus, the Messiah. And the prophecy of the Holy Quran مُطَهِّرُکَ ]I will clear thee (O' Jesus)] indicates that a time would come when God Almighty would clear Jesus, the Messiah, of these charges and this indeed is that time. Although the testimony of the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, has no doubt established the innocence of Jesus, the Messiah, may peace be on him, in the eyes of intelligent people, for the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and the Holy Quran have both testified that the charges brought against Jesus, the Messiah, may peace be on him, are all unfounded. But this evidence was too subtle and theoretical in the eyes of the common man. Divine justice, therefore, desired that just as the crucifixion of Jesus, the Messiah, may peace be on him, was a well known matter, and from among things manifest and tangible, so should his inno- cence and exoneration be demonstrated palpably and tangibly. And this is now exactly what has come to pass, that is to say, the innocence of Jesus, may peace be on him, has not only been proved in theory but also palpably.
