CHAPTER TWO Containing Evidence from the Holy Quran and Authentic Ahadith which relates to Jesus, the Messiah, being Saved from the Cross The thought may arise in everyone's mind concerning these argu- ments which I am now going to write in this Chapter, that on the face of it, to present these reasons to the Christians is devoid of any benefit, because they do not consider the Holy Quran and any Hadith to be binding upon them. But I have written them down only for this purpose that the Christians may become informed of a miracle of the Holy Quran and our Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him; and this reality may become apparent to them as to how those truths which have only now become known after centuries, had already been mentioned by the Holy Quran and our Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. I am now going to mention some of them in what follows. Allah, the Exalted, says in the Holy Quran: 1 الآية وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلكِنْ شُبِّهَ لَهُمْ . . الآية وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ يَقِينَا 1. Sūrah an-Nisa', 4:158 [Publisher]
