Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad 38 fa‘as a an takrah u sha’ i an wa yaj‘a lall a h hu f i hi kha i ran kath i r a. O’ you who believe! It is not lawful for you to inherit women against their will; nor should you detain them wrongfully that you may take away part of that which you have given them, except that they be guilty of a flagrant evil; and consort with them in kindness; and if you dislike them, it may be that you dislike a thing wherein Allah has placed much good. (In the verse above God enjoins Muslims to deal kindly with their wives even if for some reason they dislike them. God promises ‘much good’ in return for this kind treatment) ج ً ِّبَة ی َ ط 羡 ً ٰوة ی َ ح 羡 ٗ ہ َنَّ ی ِ ی فَلَنُحْ 羡 ٌِ مُؤْم 羡 َ وَهُو 羡 ٰ اُنْث 羡 ْ اَو 羡 ٍ ذَكَر 羡 ِّْ م 羡 ً صَالِا 羡 عَِلَ 羡 مَْ 21 羡 َعْمَلُونَ 羡ی َنُْا 羡ک مَا 羡 بَِحْسَنِ 羡 ُْ اَجْرَه 羡 ْ َنَُّم ی ِ وَلَنَجْز Man ‘amila s a li h an min dhakarin a u unth a wa huwa mu’minun fala nu h yi-yannah u h ay a tan tayyibatan, wala najzi-yannahum ajra hum bi a h sani m a k a n u ya‘mal u n. 21 Surah An-Nahl , 16:98 [Publishers]
