60 of war were distributed among the Muslim individuals, but now as non-Muslim nations do not make slaves of their captives but treat them as state prisoners, it would be unlawful for the Muslims as well to distribute their prisoners among individuals, and thus bring about a state of things bearing resemblance to slavery.
