For instance, people living thousands of miles apart can talk to each other through the telephone, and innovations like the railway train, telegram and postal services have made the whole world like a single city. ) 8–9: And when the girl-child buried alive is questioned about the crime for which she was killed. (It will not be permissible to bury a person alive. Laws will not allow such practices to continue and religious edicts in this regard will not be accepted. ) 10: And when books are spread far and wide.
