Most surely We help Our Messengers and those who believe, both in the present life and on the day when the witnesses will stand forth. But Allah grants power to His Messenger over whomso - ever He pleases; and Allah has power over all things. It is evident from these verses that God causes His Messengers to prevail over others, whether physically and spiritually, or only spiritually. The Holy Quran also reveals that false pretenders to prophethood cannot escape God’s punishment. And if he had forged and attributed any sayings to Us, We would surely have seized him by the right hand, and then surely We would have severed his life-artery. In other words, God does not help and support such a person and he faces ignominy and ruin. We also read in the Holy Quran: And who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah or gives the lie to His Signs? Surely, the unjust shall not prosper. If the unjust cannot prosper, then how can one who lies about God and thus commits the worst kind of injustice ever prosper?
